Essential engineering works will be taking place on Nottingham Express Transit over the weekend of 24th and 25th January 2026, meaning that there will no service between Queens Walk and Clifton South.
During this closure the main work will be undertaken at Wilford Lane where contaminated track ballast is due to be replaced. This was damaged and contaminated following severe flooding in January 2024 and needs to be replaced. The closure will also enable NET to complete other repair work on the Clifton line at the same time.
On both days the following tram services will run:
- Phoenix Park to Queens Walk
- Hucknall to Toton Lane
A replacement bus service will run from Robin Hood Way (a short 2 minute walk from Queens Road tramstop) to Clifton South. It will call at, or as close as possible, to all stops on the route.
In addition, Nottingham City Transport (NCT) Navy line 1 and Navy line 3 will also be accepting tram ticket.
