Fare increases on the way in Blackpool

This is another of those “certainties in life” posts – fares on Blackpool Transport’s trams and buses are to go up from Sunday 3rd June with an increase in operating costs being used as justification for their change. From this date all single fares will go up by 10p whilst there will also be changes to saver tickets although the cheapest way to travel will be using the Mobile App.

From 3rd June the popular 24 hour adult ticket will cost £5.50 on the tram (or bus) with this only being £5.25 using the app, previously this cost £5.00. The 1 hour ticket will be £3.20 regardless of where you buy it (on the vehicle or app). For adults the 3 day saver will be £12.50 (£11.50 on the app) and the 7 day version will cost £15.50 (£14.50 using the app). Meanwhile the Family 24 hour saver will be £12.00 (£11.50 via the app).

A full list of new Saver fares can be found on the Blackpool Transport website.
