In Pictures: Ipswich 33

We recently featured Ipswich 33 on these pages as it is normally seen at the Ipswich Transport Museum surrounded by other vehicles of local interest. What is, however, not often seen is the interior of the tram but in this article we take a look at the tram again including some lower and top deck images. Photos from Bryan Grint.

The standard external view of 33.

Showing the high quality cosmetic restoration enjoyed by the tram this view of the top deck also shows other exhibits at the museum including bikes hung from the ceiling.

The trolley pole has its own piece of “overhead” to run along.

Again the high quality nature of the restoration can be seen in this view of the lower saloon.

Another view of the lower saloon.

One of the end platforms of 33. (All Photographs by Bryan Grint)
