Further track replacement works took place on the Stagecoach Supertram network on Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th June with the road crossing inbound just below the City Hall tramstop tackled this time around. The site was totally enclosed with padding to shield any noise from an adjacent hotel and as so often seems to be the case during engineering works in Sheffield heavy rain affected the work on the Sunday with water having to be regularly pumped out. Four trams were trapped on the wrong side of the site to provide a limited service and these were stored in the University subway overnight.
