The investment in maintaining the Manchester Metrolink infrastructure will be continuing this spring with a month long closure of the original city centre line via Market Street and Shudehill in March and April 2025.

There were delays on Manchester Metrolink’s Oldham and Rochdale line on the evening of Monday 10th February after a taxi collided with a tram at Freehold.

There will be more engineering works on Manchester Metrolink over the weekend of Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd March to allow for track renewal at Deansgate-Castlefield and Trafford Bar.
