There is a new all over advert to report on from Manchester Metrolink as 3091 gets a bold design for Prosecco – which is a nice bright pink colour and certainly can’t be missed!
As mentioned in a report a few days ago, 3091 had been advertising Starling Bank (along with 3102) since March 2024 but these vinyls were removed earlier this month. It didn’t take long for the tram to get some more instead of fleet livery though as it is now advertising Prosecco.
This is only the third different advert that 3091 has carried in its operating career. As well as the Starling Bank ad it also advertised Go North Wales from March 2020 until February 2021 – in what was one of the worst pieces of timing for an adverts in that in was encouraging people to take holidays or day trips to North Wales, just as the country was going into the first lockdown!
The advert has a bright pink background and as may be expected features bottles of prosecco.
