DLR sets new performance records

The Docklands Light Railway has set a new record for punctuality and performance with 99.67% of trains running on time between 5th January and 1st February whilst during the same period 99.77% of all scheduled services ran.

Transport for London’s Docklands Light Railway Director, Rory O’Neill, was understandably delighted with the news: “’The DLR continues to deliver to its passengers one of the most reliable and punctual rail services in Britain. This performance was made possible by a continuous and sustained effort by all staff and we will continue to strive to improve performance even further.”

Kevin Thomas, Serco Docklands Managing Director, was also happy with the performance: “’This is a phenomenal result and a true demonstration of our commitment to making every journey matter for DLR’s passengers.”
