Francis Bourgeois, the social media megastar who has more than 3.3 million followers on TikTok, has released another video with two of the new trains for the Tyne and Wear Metro featuring in their delivery during December 2025.
Francis, real name Luke Nicholson, filmed the two units as they were being towed to their new home by two class 20 diesel locomotives (which was possibly more of the reason that the video was shot!). In the video he says: “There are the new Tyne and Wear Metro units, 555042 and 555044. I do not think I’ve had such an adrenaline rush past midnight.”
His trainspotting videos, showing his uncontainable, wholesome excitement as locomotives fly-by have become a sensation on social media. In this latest reel he is seen at Willesden Junction, North London to see the locos and units being moved up the country.
It has been viewed nearly half a million times on TikTok and over one million views on Instagram.
