Edinburgh Trams support charities this Christmas

With it being the season of giving, Edinburgh Trams are getting into the Christmas spirit by helping various charities. This has included Christmas Jumper Day and the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas where they have been collecting toys for the charity.

On Thursday 11th December staff at Edinburgh Trams took part in Christmas Jumper Day which aims to raise funds for Save the Children. From drivers and operational colleagues to Ticketing Services Assistants and the office team, the team at Edinburgh Trams got together for donations, and the amount raised by staff was due to be matched by the company to further support the charity.

They have also been supporting Mission Christmas to help ensure that every child, no matter their circumstances, feel the excitement of Christmas. A collection of toys were taken to the charity in mid-December suitable for children of all ages.

Becky Love, Marketing and Communications Manager for Edinburgh Trams, said: “The festive season is the time for giving and we continuously look at ways we can give back to the communities around us.

“Our colleagues’ efforts on Christmas Jumper Day last week, and throughout the month to support Mission Christmas, is a testament to our commitment to supporting worthy causes in our community, especially at this time of year.”
