For the first time since October 2019 there are three identical adverts running around the Manchester Metrolink network following the application of vinyls for xtb, a major international financial broker. The three trams to receive this advert are 3092, 3100 and 3101.
As with a lot of recent adverts it is a mainly black wrap and its of the usual Manchester type design with the ends of the tram retaining the yellow of the fleet livery. Some windows are also covered in vinyls too.
All three trams are no strangers to adverts. For 3092 it’s the fifth advert and comes a few weeks after its Euro 2028 ad was removed, 3100 is onto its third with its last for The Hundred coming off in August 2025, and 3101 has now also had three with it losing a wrap for Wicked For Good in December 2025.
The last time that there were at least three trams carrying identical adverts for the same sponsor was in October 2019. This was the end of the contract with Vodafone which was part of a deal which saw the company provide on-board wi-fi on the trams. 3017, 3047, 3093 and 3100 all carried the same advert, and there was also a fifth tram – 3096 – which carried a revised design at the same time.

3092 runs along Lower Mosley Street having just left St Peter’s Square with a service to MediaCityUK.

3100 arrives at Deansgate-Castlefield terminating with a service from The Trafford Centre, the second of the three xtb adverts.
