Around the World in Trams: Rome 7077 and 7107

We take another look at trams in Rome, Italy as “Around the World in Trams” continues.

The below photo features two trams, although only one was in service at this time with 7077 on the left having broken down and requiring fitters attention. Alongside it is 7107 which seems to have a packed load of passengers on board. The rear of 7107 has the wording “NON ACCOSTARSI IN CURVA” which translates as “DON’T PULL OVER ON A BEND”.

Both trams are part of the Treno Articolato Stanga class of tram. 7077 being built in 1950 and 7107 in 1952. Both remain part of the current operational fleet.
