Just one more photo coming from Mannheim in Germany before “Around the World in Trams” moves on once more.
In the below photo we see a seven section tram built by Bombardier in 2002. This was initially numbered 705 when it originally ran in Mannheim but would then be renumbered in 2009 to 5705.
It was captured on camera running on a segregated section of tramway with a line 1 service. At this time the end of the tram had no destination display just a small section to let everyone know which route it was on.
