Services to Clifton South on Nottingham Express Transit were suspended on the evening of Wednesday 3rd September following the report of overhead line problems.
The first reports of the issue were around 1900 and meant that no trams on the Clifton South line were able to travel beyond Nottingham Station.
A spokesperson from Nottingham Express Transit confirmed that it was due to an overhead line problem at Compton Acres.
