Late night services on the London Trams network will be affected by trackworks taking place after 2030 on Saturday 10th May 2025. No trams will be able to run on the eastern part of the network with the Beckenham Junction, Elmers End and New Addington lines all suspended.
The work is being described as planned trackworks, although posters were only added to stops on the network a few days before the work was due to take place.
From 2030 on Saturday 10th May 2025 the following services will run:
- Wimbledon to Wellesley Road
- George Street to Wimbledon
Presumably this will see trams from Wimbledon terminate at Welllesley Road before they move forward towards East Croydon before using the crossover on George Street to head to George Street stop and recommence their journey back to Wimbledon.
No service will run:
- Wellesley Road to Beckenham Junction/Elmers End/New Addington
No dedicated replacement bus services will be operated with potential passengers advised to replan their journey on the TfL website.
