Route confirmed for The Full System Tour in Blackpool

Sunday 29th September will see the second (and final) “The Final System Tour” of the year for Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours and details of the planned route have now been revealed. It will see a heritage tram running up to North Station – the first time since the pre-opening launch tours – as well as covering all sorts of track its not always possible to travel over.

Departing North Pier heritage stop at 1100 the tour is then planned to travel as follows:

North Pier heritage stop

North Station (reverse)

Cabin (reverse)

North Station (reverse)

Blundell Street as far as breaker (reverse)

Foxhall (reverse)

Starr Gate through tram wash

Headshunt (reverse)

Any depot road (reverse)

Depot to Starr Gate platforms (reverse) – potential toilet stop whilst changing ends

Fleetwood Ferry inner loop via Bispham centre line and Thornton Gate centre line

Ash Street (reverse)

Fleetwood Ferry inner loop (15 minute break)

Cleveleys (reverse)

Thornton Gate (reverse)

Pleasure Beach outer loop via Bispham centre track

North Pier heritage stop

The tram to operate this tour has yet to be announced.

To secure your place on the tour you can pre-book online at https://blackpoolheritage.com/tours/systemtour/. It costs £25 for adults and £12.50 for children. Leaving North Pier at 1100 it should be back there by 1500.
