The highest numbered tram operating on the West Midlands Metro has had a bit of a makeover with 58 now carrying advertising vinyls for KFC. This is another case of the same company advertising on different tramways at the same time with this new advert being part of the same campaign as seen in Manchester where 3047 carries an advert livery.
The actual advert on 58 is very similar to that seen on 3047 with large pieces of chicken against a black background and the slogan “Believe in Chicken” along with the KFC logo.
This is the first advert that 58 has carried and becomes the third of the trams to currently carry advertising liveries. The others being 44 (National Trust) and 45 (City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra).
