Its becoming a bit of a habit for the Seaton Tramway – and its not a bad habit to have! – winning awards at various different ceremonies around the southwest of England and beyond. The latest success has come at the Jurassic Business Awards where they came away with three more prestigious awards.
This included a surprise win for the tramway – Business of the Year, a category which the team had no idea they had been nominated for! This special award highlights the Tramway’s overall excellence and impact on the local business community.
Other wins at the ceremony included the Tramstop Café winning the Café, Pub and Fine Dining Award and a victory in the Tourism Award to acknowledge their contribution to the area’s tourism and heritage preservation.
Steve Waite, Commercial Manager of Seaton Tramway, said: “These awards are a fantastic recognition of the hard work and dedication of our entire team. Winning the Business of the Year was particularly special and unexpected. It’s an honour to be recognised amongst such distinguished businesses across Charmouth, Seaton, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis, and Axminster.”
