A man has been taken to hospital after he was hit by a tram on Chilwell Road, Beeston. The incident happened at approximately 1430 on Thursday 30th November.
In a statement Nottinghamshire Police confirmed that the man had been taken to hospital with head injuries although the extent of these was not revealed.
An investigation was immediately launched and with the Police remaining on the scene there was major disruption to services on the Toton Lane to Hucknall route. Services were able to run:
- Toton Lane to Cator Lane
- Beeston Centre to Hucknall
There was ticket acceptance available on Orange line buses to allow passengers to complete their journeys.
