In this next edition of “Out and About” we are heading back to Edinburgh as we take a look at what was the third full vinyl wrap advert to be seen on the tram system.
July 2023 was the first time that more than one tram in the Edinburgh Trams fleet had no sign of the standard fleet livery after 262 was wrapped in an advert for Capital Radio (joining 270 as being advert trams). In this photo we see the blue tram (looking very similar to a tram on the West Midlands Metro!) on its way to Newhaven having just left Ocean Terminal behind.
A little bit later and we see 262 again as it passes the Ocean Terminal car park.
And then 262 is running between the Airport and Ingliston Park and Ride with a return trip to Newhaven. The air traffic control tower is in the background. (All Photographs by blackpool_trams, 17th July 2023)
