In Pictures: TfL celebrate 25 years on the DLR

We saw a few weeks ago that as part of Transport for London’s 25th anniversary celebrations a half warp had been added to London Trams CR4000 2537. London Trams aren’t the only transport network in the city which has joined in the celebrations either with the DLR also outshopping one of their trains in the special livery.

For the DLR the chosen vehicle is B2009, 125 (rather appropriate considering its 25 years and 25 will be one of those to be withdrawn in the near future as the new trains start to be introduced). Again it is only one half which has received the vinyls and they are similar to those carried on London Trams 2537.

The big difference in these vinyls is that is completely covers the fleet livery (the tram still features flet livery at the ends of the tram) and the milestones listed on the livery are revised as well.

125 leads 133 into Pontoon Dock on its way to Bank.
