The number of overall advertising liveries in Edinburgh continues to grow, as do the number for OVO Energy with 276 being the third tram to re-enter service carrying the green vinyl wrap for the company.
276 follows on from 271 and 273 in receiving this advert – with all three being identical. The base colour of the advert is green with the OVO Energy logo and various slogans included, as usual the third and fifth sections of the tram featured vinyls on the windows.
This is the sixth advert to have adorned 276 and the first full vinyl wrap. Its advert history started in November 2017 with an internal promotion for Edinburgh Trams Christmas and Hogmanay which surprisingly remained in place until May 2018. It then received adverts for The Royal Highland Show (May 2018-July 2018), Edinburgh Dungeon (July 2018-December 2018), Edinburgh Trams Christmas 2018 and Hogmanay (December 2018-March 2019) and finally a long-standing advert for Parabola (March 2019-October 2023).
Of the 27 strong fleet of CAF trams there are now seven trams in full vinyl wrap adverts (with one more to come for OVO Energy). The remaining trams all also have adverts although these retain fleet livery with the vinyls only being above windows and full height on the third and fifth sections of the tram.
