What’s New on British Trams Online? 22nd October 2023

There are three small collections of photos included in this week’s update as we catch-up with some heritage trams from August and October:

Photos: Crich Tramway Village – 12th August 2023

Photos: Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours – 28th August 2023

Photos: Heaton Park Tramway End of Season Gala – 1st October 2023

There are updates this week to the Edinburgh Trams (new adverts and photo links), Heaton Park Tramway (photo links), London Tramlink (photo links) and West Midlands Metro (tram into service) Fleet Lists alongside the Edinburgh Trams (new adverts and photo links) Advert List.

On Sunday 17th September the much delayed West Midlands Metro extension to Wolverhampton Railway Station finally opened to the public after the conclusion of driver training. The short extension includes two new stops including one intermediate stop on Pipers Row adjacent to Wolverhamton Bus Station which is where this photo was taken. On the right is 34 which is heading away from the new terminus whilst over on the far side is 49 with a service to Wolverhampton Railway Station. A taxi also gets in on the act but it will have to wait for the tram to continue with its journey. (Photograph by Andy Walters)
