Crich Tramway Village - 12th August 2023 |
In this small collection of photos we take a trip to the Crich Tramway Village on a typical summer's day of operation in 2023. At this time an infrastructure issue at Glory Mine meant that trams were only running from Town End to Wakebridge and on this day - which typically for the main part of the summer of 2023 was forecast to be wet - there were three enclosed trams in service.
These were Sheffield 510, Blackpool 630 and Liverpool 869 and those three were joined out on the mainline a bit later in the day by Leeds 399 on test. As well as the trams in action we also look around the Workshop and Depots with images of trams under attention as well as recent arrival, Blackpool 645. |
