We brought you the news that at the end of August two thirds of Stagecoach Supertram 105 had returned to Sheffield after repairs in Scotland and its now been confirmed that the remaining section of the tram is also now back at Nunnery Square Depot.
As a reminder, 105 was involved in a collision with a lorry in July 2021 close to Hyde Park and sustaining major damage. After assessment it was decided it needed to be sent away for repairs and this took place on 14th and 15th March 2022 (in two parts) with it going to Brodies in Kilmarnock, Scotland.
With the first two thirds of the tram being returned by Allelys on 30th August 2023, the final third followed just 24 hours later on 31st August 2023.
Now back in Sheffield further work will be completed to commission the tram for a return to use on the Supertram network.
