Tram allocations confirmed for Blackpool’s next Enhanced Weekend

The August Bank Holiday weekend will see the latest Enhanced Weekend of operation for Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours with the heritage trams due to be operating various journeys between Pleasure Beach and Fleetwood over all three days between Saturday 26th and Monday 28th August.

The same hop-on, hop-off timetable as has been seen at recent Enhanced Weekends will again be running which sees five trams allocated to service. The first departure of each day will be at 0955 from North Pier to Thornton Gate with the day ending with dual services to Fleetwood which then depart back south at 1710 and 1715 respectively.

Standard Heritage Tram Tours ticketing is in place which includes the £18 day ticket (£9 for children) as well as the usual shorter return journeys. There are pre-bookable Coastal and Promenade Tours too for those who like to know exactly what they’re doing and when.

The planned allocations are:

Saturday 26th August

A – Railcoach 680

B – Balloon 700

C – Brush 631

D – Bolton 66

E – Balloon 717

Evening – Western Train

Sunday 27th August

A – Centenary 648

B – Balloon 700

C – Railcoach 680

D – Brush 621

E – Balloon 707

Monday 28th August

A – Railcoach 680

B – Balloon 723

C – Frigate

D – Bolton 66

E – Balloon 717

Evening – Boat 227

Owing to the forecast weather no open trams have been allocated to the daytime service but if weather improves they wil make an appearance.
