In Pictures: NET 201 gets a new Consent Coalition wrap

Nottingham Express Transit now have two trams wrapped in special liveries for the Consent Coalition after 201 received new vinyls in what is described on the tram as the night-time edition!

The Nottingham Consent Coalition is a group of organisations who are working to create positive conservations around consent to reduce sexual violence and have had a wrap on 202 since March 2022. It was mentioned in a recent report of the Greater Nottingham Light Rapid Transit Advisory Committee that there would be a second wrap for the organisation coming soon and that time is now with 201 the chosen tram.

As it’s a “Special night-time edition” it probably won’t surprise you to realise that the wrap is mainly black and as with the other ad on 202 it features the hashtag #getconsent and includes contravision vinyls on the windows.

201 is no stranger to advert liveries with this being sixth different design having been seen on the tram, making it the most of any of the trams in Nottingham. It started off with an advert for Powergen in 2004 and in 2005 received a second design for the same sponsor. This remained in place until 2008 when a new advert for My Nottingham Jobs.co.uk was applied and then in 2009 it was an internal promotional livery to “Celebrate a Hassle Free Trip”. The final advert before now came in 2010 when it received a wrap for Nottingham Contemporary which remained in situ until 2014. Now nine years later and its back to another advertising livery.
