In Pictures: New advert on Edinburgh Trams 263

Its been a quite few months for new adverts on the Edinburgh Trams network with no new designs seen since February but that has changed now with 263 receiving a new wrap advertising Seven Peaks IPA. The advert debuted earlier this week and is the fifth advert that this tram has now carried.

As we’ve come to expect – with one exception! – the advert only features two sections of the tram being covered in a full height vinyl with the remainder just featuring ads above the windows. The background colour for the advert is turquoise-y and the full height sections have a can of Seven Peaks IPA as brewed by the Drygate (craft) Brewery in Glasgow. This brewery seems to be part-owned by Tennent Caledonian Breweries – no stranger to advertising on Edinburgh Trams.

263 has previously been advertising Glenmorangie Whisky (applied in November 2022) so its no stranger to alcoholic beverage vinyls. Other previous advertisers are CR Smith (August 2017-November 2019), American Express (November 2019-March 2020) and Spotify (August-November 2022).
