Stop by Stop Nottingham Express Transit: Hucknall & Phoenix Park – Moor Bridge

All aboard for our continued trip on Nottingham Express Transit towards Hucknall in this latest edition of “Stop by Stop”.

We’ve sped along another single track section of line from Bulwell Forest and have headed under Moor Bridge itself before we reach the stop of the same name. The single track makes way to a passing loop with another island platform provided. There’s a couple of shelters, ticket machines, bins and everything else we have seen at other stops on the line here.

201 is arriving at Moor Bridge in this photo as it heads towards Toton Lane. The end of the tram is just coming off the single track section for its approach to the stop here. We also see the signage and signal provided for tram drivers to remind them to check before starting off.

Then we see 206 arriving at the Hucknall bound platform. As well as the tram platform on the far side our eye is also drawn to a signal gantry over the Robin Hood railway line. (Both Photographs by Gareth Prior, 19th September 2021)
