Metro performance is up but still below 75%

The latest Tyne and Wear Metro performance poster has been put up at stations across the network and when comparing to both the previous period and the same time twelve months ago it does show an improvement – although it still remains just below 75%.

The figure for the four weeks from 13th November to 10th December 2022 is 74% – that is the number of trains which are considered on train which includes anything which is within two minutes late or 30 seconds earlier than timetabled.

In comparison the previous four weeks was at 71% and in the same four weeks in 2021 it was at 69%.
