Thank you to everyone who has provided updates to this list which are now shown below.
The last time we brought you this round-up of heritage trams which have run in the British Isles this year it was April, so what changes have there been over the past (nearly) six months? Quite a few with more trams having been used in service on various tramways – it may not have been as many as expected but there have still been a varied selection in operation. To remind you of the purpose of this article: its to list all heritage trams which have run with passengers during the calendar year (including private hires but not testing). This list is correct to the best of our knowledge, but as always if you notice any errors or omissions please let us know (full contact details are available at the end of the article).

Information is believed correct up to and including Friday 14th October 2022. This list is intended to show those trams which have run in some form of passenger service during 2022 (and thus does not include those on test/driver training) and is as accurate as possible, although errors may have occurred. Various online sources have been used to collate this information.
If you know of any mistakes or anything not included above either please leave a comment below or email gareth@britishtramsonline.co.uk.
I can add a couple of trams to this list. I spent a week on the Isle of Man in September, and MER 22 was in use throughout that week. Douglas Bay Horse Tramway 29 was in use on 22nd September. I have photos and video of both these cars in service.
Snaefell 2 was in action during the transport week
Both KLV and the Blackpool electric loco carried passengers on Trams day….
