Night at the Museum returns to Birkenhead

Its not often you get the chance to ride on a tram after dark on the Wirral Heritage Tramway in Birkenhead but on Friday 4th November you can as Night at the Museum returns. With a tram set to be in service between 1800 and 2100 the Transport Museum will also be lit up in this special event.

As well as a tram service operating every 15 minutes from the Transport Museum at Taylor Street to the current terminus on Shore Road (with the line to Woodside Ferry remaining closed until repairs are completed) using two trams, there will be free heritage bus rides around the local area but the big pull of the event will be the lighting up of the museum and exhibits by R Discos. Using LED lighting, Special Effects, Stage Lighting and Disco Lights this will show the museum in a completely new light.

There is no need to pre-book to attend the event with tram fares remaining at the standard rate:

  • Adult return – £2.00
  • Child/Concession single – £1.00
  • Adult Evening Night-rider – £5.00
  • Child/Concession Evening Night-rider – £3.00
