Kangaroo tickets jump in price

The Kangaroo ticket – the multi-modal ticket available for unlimited travel in Nottingham  – is to increase in cost from the current £3.70 to £4 per day. This ticket is the only ticket which is now available on both the buses and trams in Nottingham following the change in operator of NET to Tramlink Nottingham and transport campaigners fear this increase – which has been put down to the usual issues such as rising fuel costs – will put people off from using public transport in the City. The increase takes place from Sunday 25^th March.
