“Out and About” is today taking a look at Blackpool’s Rigby Road Depot where we see a little bit of shunting involving the Engineering Car and one of the ever popular Boat Cars.
With it being trollied through the complex wiring at the entrance to the depot we see Boat Car 600 being shunted at the depot. Its just come through the depot gates and will pull forward a bit further before returning into the depot complex once more.
Also outside the depot we see Engineering Car 754. Showing evidence of recent bodywork attention with new panels at the bottom and marks alongside the length of the body this tram remains an important member of Blackpool Transport’s works fleet, remaining based at Rigby Road.
