Saturday 5th March saw the 137th M5000 arrive at Queens Road Depot in Manchester with 3137 making the trip across from Germany following the completion of its assembly at the plant in Bautzen.
As with the majority of other deliveries it arrived in Manchester in the lunchtime slot on a Saturday with it having arrived in the UK at Hull Docks on the overnight Rotterdam to Hull ferry.
With the operation now being like a well oiled machine, upon arrival it was soon unloaded and the commissioning process will now begin ahead of it entering service in the next few weeks.
It joins 3136 in going through commissioning which has yet to enter service after arriving in Manchester on 12th February.
Sitting on the extended trailer of the lorry final checks are being made before 3137 travels the short distance to Queens Road Depot.
