Police search for man who assaulted ticket inspector on Metrolink

Greater Manchester Police have released an image of a man they want in connection with the assault of a ticket inspector at Trafford Bar back on 21 April 2013. The incident occurred when the ticket inspector approached two men at the stop asking them to purchase tickets. Although one of the men did so the other became abusive and punched the inspector in the mouth. The Police have been making “strenuous efforts” to locate the man who committed the assault but have had no luck so are now appealing to anyone who may recognise him to come forward by phoning the Police on 0161 856 7655 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
