Man dies after being hit by tram at Deansgate-Castlefield

A man has died after he was hit by a tram at Deansgate-Castlefield on the Manchester Metrolink network. The incident happened at approximately 2310 on Sunday 5^th December with the man tragically pronounced dead on the scene. Both Greater Manchester Police and the RAIB are investigating the circumstances of the incident.
