In Pictures: Recent adverts on Metrolink

Over the past few weeks we have reported on a number of new adverts applied to trams on Manchester Metrolink and now we bring those words to life with some photos showing the new look for some of the trams. Included are 3069 in an advert for IKEA, 3076 in an advert for NOCCO and 3117 advertising Lifebuoy Soap. Geoff Hope with the photos.

3069 is the second tram to advertise IKEA on Metrolink following on from 3081 in 2019. Applied in early September this design is seen on the tram at Parkway on 14th September when working from Cornbrook to The Trafford Centre.

Added to the tram in August, this design on 3076 is for NOCCO: The No Carbs Company. This is 17th September with the tram leaving St Peter’s Square on the way to Ashton having started back at Eccles.

Another September 2021 applied design is this one on 3117 for Lifebuoy Soap (which is the official sanitiser of TfGM!). Again at St Peter’s Square on 17th September the tram is heading to Victoria with a service from Manchester Airport. (All Photographs by Geoff Hope)
