There are to be further engineering works on Manchester Metrolink during October affecting services on the Altrincham, Bury, Rochdale and Airport lines on a couple of Sundays during the month. Works will take place on Sunday 3rd October (Bury line and Victoria Station) and Sunday 17th October (Altrincham line).
Sunday 3rd October
Network Rail are undertaking engineering works at Victoria Station with Metrolink also taking the chance to complete some works of their own at the same time.
Metrolink services will run:
- East Didsbury to Exchange Square
- Rochdale Town Centre to Monsall
- Manchester Airport to Firswood
- No trams will run at all from Bury to Piccadilly
Replacement bus services will run:
- Bury to Piccadilly
- Central Park to Victoria
- Chorlton to Victoria
Sunday 17th October
Planned engineering works are taking place on the Altrincham line meaning no trams will run from Altrincham to Piccadilly.
A replacement bus service will run from Altrincham to Piccadilly throughout the day.
