Out and About: Edinburgh Trams from above at the Airport

In this latest edition of “Out and About” we feature Edinburgh Trams as we take an aerial view at the Airport.

In this photo we see an unidentified tram – but one in standard fleet livery – approaching the Airport terminus which is just beyond the crossovers on the left. Top right and another tram can be seen on its way into the city. It has just left Ingliston Park & Ride. Glasgow Road into the city is just in front of the long line of trees in the far background. Centre right is a level crossing giving access to long stay car parks; this was where a bus hit a tram in June 2018. The picture was taken from the top level of the multi-storey short stay car park.
