Around the World in Trams: Amsterdam Works Car

For the next few editions of “Around the World in Trams” we are heading to Amsterdam in the Netherlands during 1983 to take a look at what was out and about on the lines at this time.

Unfortunately the brightly coloured tram in the below photo can’t be identified as the lady and child just walking past are blocking the number on the side! What we do know is that seems to be a single-ended vehicle with the rear having an open platform instead of a cab. The orange and yellow liveried tram is fitted with a large diamond pantograph and it seems to be towing a trailer of some sort.
