There will be a chance to find out all about the various careers on the Tyne and Wear Metro later this month with a special careers day taking place in Newcastle City Centre. The open day will be on Tuesday 14th September just two minutes away from Central Station.
During the open day there will be a chance to meet team members to get career advice and to find about the skills needed to work in the rail industry. There are job opportunities in the track, building and facilities, signalling and capital delivery teams and there will also be the opportunity to try out practical, job-related activities on the day.
The event takes place from 1000 to 1500 at The Common Room, Neville Hall, Westgate Road, NE1 1SE. Places can be booked by emailing lucy.stockdale@thecommonroom.org.uk.
