The NET Event Ticket – which gives discounted return travel for £2.50 – is to be made available for anyone travelling to get their COVID-19 vaccination at either The Forest Recreation Ground or Queen’s Medical Centre over the weekend of 26th and 27th June. Usually only available in conjunction with events at the Royal Centre or other locations around the city this one weekend only offer is in place to help those travelling for vaccinations to easily get there.
Stephanie Moss-Pierce, NET Marketing Manager, explains more: “We are keen to support the push on getting people vaccinated in the city – and the NHS’s Big ‘Vax the Nation’ Weekend this weekend is a great chance for people who haven’t already done so to grab their jab. We wanted to make it an even easier decision to make, by offering cheaper travel options for tram passengers travelling to The Forest and QMC for their jabs.”
The ticket can be purchased from ticket machines at stops as normal.
