Its time for another trip to Linz’s Postlingbergbahn mountain line for a view of a historic tram in this “Around the World in Trams”.
This time we are taking a look at XII (possibly the only line which numbered their vehicles in roman numerals!) which was built in April 1950 and is a 2 axle motor car. Now withdrawn from service with more modern vehicles operating the majority of services on the line it is retained as a tram of interest and is seen here on 4th August 2012.
We also see the interior of the vehicle with wooden seating in place.
