Themed tours return to Blackpool – including evening tours during the summer!

As Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours continue to change and adapt their offering, a programme of special “themed” tours have recently been announced – including the return of the popular Ghost Tour along with Afternoon Tea trams and probably most of interest to readers of this website, Evening Tours along the Promenade.

These themed tours are on top of the previously announced standard Promenade and Coastal Tours which started from 29th May. And in addition there will also be Illumination Tours from September as usual. All tours can be pre-booked through the recently redesigned Blackpool Heritage Tram Tours website at https://blackpoolheritage.com.

Evening Tours

When? Selected Wednesdays and Saturdays throughout July and August. Departing at either 1800 or 1900.

Where? North Pier and Tower to Little Bispham to Pleasure Beach to North Pier and Tower

How Much? Adults £4, Children £2, Family (2 adults/2 children) £12

What will be used for these tours? A variety of different trams are due to be used depending on the day of the tour:

Saturday 3rd, Wednesday 14th, Saturday 24th July, Wednesday 11th, Saturday 28th August – Illuminated Frigate

Saturday 17th July, Wednesday 4th, Saturday 21st August  – Vintage Tram (Bolton 66 or Standard 147)

Wednesday 21st, Saturday 31st July, Saturday 7th, Wednesday 18th August – Boat Car

Wednesday 28th July, Saturday 14th, Wednesday 25th August – Double Decker (either a Balloon or Rebuilt Balloon)

Afternoon Tea

When? Selected dates in July, August and September departing at 1315.

Where? North Pier and Tower to Little Bispham to Imperial Hotel (break for Afternoon Tea!) and then back to Pleasure Beach and then North Pier and Little Bispham

How Much? £25 per person

What will be used for these tours? It is planned that a double decker will be used for all tours

Ghost Tram

When? Selected dates in September, October and November departing at 1900 (31st October has additional tours planned)

Where? North Pier and Tower to Little Bispham to Starr Gate to North Pier and Tower

How Much? Adults £12, Children £6

What will be used for these tours? It is planned that a double decker will be used for all tours
