There will be further essential engineering works on Dublin’s Luas network over the June Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday 5th to Monday 7th June) which will see services on the Green Line affected. This will be a continuation of the works at Charlemont which previously took place in April and May.
The previous work saw the northbound tracks replaced and now attention will be turned towards the southbound line. The work will see sections of rail and concrete surrounding the rail cut into small sections of approximately 3 metres to remove the rail. Once this is done the new rail will be positioned, welded together and put into position before welding them at each end of the tramstop.
When are the works taking place?
Saturday 5th to Monday 7th June
Where will trams run?
Green Line trams will only run from Broombridge/Parnell to St Stephen’s Green and from Beechwood to Sandyford/Brides Glen throughout the weekend.
Replacement buses?

A normal service is due to resume from the start of service on Tuesday 8th June.
