New timetable for West Midlands Metro from 15th March

There will be a new temporary timetable running on the West Midlands Metro from Monday 15th March – with the frequency of trams Monday to Saturday being reduced from the current every 8 minutes for most of the day to every 10 minutes. The Sunday timetable remains unchanged.

From Monday 15th March the first full route trams will be:

0515 from both Wolverhampton St George’s to Library and from Library to Wolverhampton St George’s

The last full route trams will be:

2330 Library to Wolverhampton to St George’s

2340 Wolverhampton St George’s to Library

The service frequency will be:

Start of service to 1900 – every 10 minutes

1900 to end of service – every 15 minutes

This will replace the previous temporary timetable which had seen trams every 6 minutes during the morning and evening peak, every 8 minutes during the day and every 15 minutes in the evenings.

It has not been revealed how long this temporary timetable will be in operation for.
