In September 2020 one of our “Still Standing” series of articles featured some rosettes in Darwen Town Centre and this attracted the interest of former Darwen resident, Glenn Taylor, who set about doing some research to see if there were any others which were still on the side of some of the buildings in the area.
After his research he has kindly shared a map of those rosettes which do still exist in and around the town centre. During his research he found that there are still a number which are attached to buildings although these are exclusively on the side of commercial as opposed to residential buildings.
