Around the World in Trams: Den Haag 3143

Its time for another trip to Den Haag in The Netherlands as we continue our look at trams from around the world.

The large system in Den Haag is operated by two very different types of tram with the below image featuring one of these – the GTL8. Built in Brugge, Belgium by La Brugeoise et Nivelles in the 1980s and 1990s these cars still carry a version of the original red and cream livery.

This photo shows 3143 waiting in the Scheveningen Noorderstrand turning circle. Once it gets underway its journey to Tanthof via the centres of Den Haag and Delft will take about an hour. 3rd July 2017.
