Punctuality falls as reliability increases on Metrolink

The last we ran one of these stories on Manchester Metrolink performance the headline was “Punctuality up, reliability down” and this time it’s the complete opposite as punctuality has fallen and reliability has gone up! As has often been the case since Covid hit the report released covers three consecutive reporting periods – from 18th October 2020 (period 8) to 9th January 2021 (period 10). Although there has been a fall in punctuality it is only a small decrease and the increase in reliability is more than 2% so it is a generally positive picture for how the system continues to operate.
