15 Years Apart: Nottingham Express Transit 212

Its time for another edition of our comparison archive photo series as we take a look at one of the original Nottingham Express Transit vehicles “15 Years Apart”.

The NET Incentro we feature this time is 212 and as we saw last time we were in Nottingham the tram has changed liveries in this period having gone through two refurbishment programmes at Wilkinson Street Depot. In this 2005 view – 8th June 2005 to be precise – we find 212 at Old Market Square where it is stopping with a service from Station Street to Phoenix Park. The tram is in the original fleet livery.

And in the 2020 view we see 212 approaching the stop at Nottingham Trent University with a service to Clifton South. The tram is now in the third different version of standard fleet livery seen on NET and also includes advertising on the sides for e-on. The date of this image is 20th September 2020.
